The most popular shapewear brands in the USA are SPANX, Maidenform, Wacoal and Miraclesuit. These four brands absolutely dominate the industry!

At Macy’s, Maidenform has the highest restock rate with 35% of products currently available being restocked at least once. At Nordstrom, SPANX takes the trophy with the highest restock rate at 46%.

According to data, Bodysuits are by far the leading seller, followed by Shapewear Shorts then shaping panties. Waist slimmers come in 4th place. Full Slips take 5th place and Half Slips are dead last, but still sell!

The global shapewear market size was estimated at USD 2.26 billion in 2018 and is projected to expand  7.7% from 2019 to 2025! Almost 13% of all shapewear purchases were made online in 2018, so we can safely assume that now (2020) it is easily 15% or more.
