Ever listen to a TV commercial? Did you ever consider the actual transcript of the television promo? If the lotion company promotion just said “8 ounce lotion. Ships Priority Mail” would anyone even buy it??? ...Of course not!

That’s not exciting and there’s no reason impulse to buy. Instead the lotion company says “Leaves your skin silky smooth to touch. Refreshing scent of summery pomegranate with a touch of garden-ripe strawberry. Perfect for daily use!”. AND the difference between the TV ad and your online listing is that the ad has VIDEO whereas you only have words to sweep your buyer off their feet and get them to smash the "Buy Now" button… so your words have to “seal the deal” in a couple quick sentences. Let's take a look at this 30-second Dove TV ad from the UK.

YES, they put ALL of those words and phrases into a 30-sec ad!  That's interesting, eh?  In 30 seconds they were able to convey that this specific product is great!!!  But if the commercial just said "Dove Oxygen Moisture Shampoo. Full Size. $5.99"... we would all skip that 3-second ad.  They sucker us in with "exciting words" and "catchy phrases".

So let’s check out some words you can add to your listing to boost your sales -

Come on now!

Here's what I would say:
