I know what you’re thinking, “There’s nothing weird about selling Cheetos online” - and I agree with that, but this is going to be one of the most head-scratching things you have seen all year… I almost guarantee it.

My BFF and I discovered this insane underground world while we were recording one of our podcasts and had to do some research to discuss  Cheetos Mac & Cheese. The internet, being the internet, led us down a Cheetos rabbit hole and we ended up on eBay, staring this bizarre industry right in the eye. Here’s an example of the “WTF” we were both gazing at:

Yeah… it seriously does say $1,000 and it really does say 181 WATCHERS.

Now you’re probably thinking something like, “Ok, you found one weird auction, who cares?” - but you should already know that I would never call something a “bizarre underground world” if it was just a single post, so let’s look at more:

Needless to say, my buddy and I spent quite a while looking at all of these listings in shock and awe…. More so shock.

And let me guess, by this point in this blog post you are like, “It’s not like anyone actually buys these”... WRONG. According to SOLD listings these sell like hotcakes, or, um, Cheetos:

I hope you noticed the $6,900 dong and the $5,000 BLM protestor…

But neither of these massive purchases come close to the $10,000 Arnold Cheeto:

So now that I have enlightened you to this new, strange sales avenue, score some Cheetos on Amazon or grab yourself a mixed flavor case (we always have these on hand at our warehouse because my sons love the Flaming Hot and I love the Chipotle and Jalapenos.
