Glitter: People love buying it, online sellers hate listing it. Nothing makes a mess of your table and floor quite like glitter, and then it manages to seemingly NEVER LEAVE. So, if you’re dealing with glitter hell, here’s how to clean it up:

CARPET GLITTER

First, vacuum as much as possible. Tip: It can help a lot to use your vacuum attachments to get down into the carpet.

Second, use a lint roller and / or tape

HARD SURFACE GLITTER (Tile, Wood Floor, Table, etc)

If the glitter is on the floor, start by sweeping with a broom. Just be sure to shake your broom out (outside!) really good after you’re done sweeping.

If the glitter is on a hard surface use a DAMP sponge or paper towel (I prefer paper towel because it’s a pain to get off the sponge)

FOR EXTRA STUBBORN GLITTER

If the glitter is giving you problems, one solution is to use some hairspray on cotton balls or a paper towel. The hairspray will give you a little adhesion to help pickup the glitter. 

GLITTER CLEAN-UP CLOTH!! You can actually buy a cloth made specifically for cleaning up glitter! This cloth is somewhat tacky, similar to an ace wrap bandage and it picks up glitter, confetti and sand! A 3 pack is about $15 on Amazon.
