STOP COUNTERFEITS! Counterfeit merchandise hurts EVERYONE! Fake merchandise sales take away from a purchase being made through the legitimate name brand.  Here's how to report knockoffs from any .com website, Amazon, eBay, Poshmark or Etsy:

HOW TO REPORT A PRODUCT YOU KNOW IS 100% FAKE / COUNTERFEIT

If the counterfeit product IS FROM A WEBSITE that is NOT Amazon, eBay or Poshmark:

You can report suspicions concerning the manufacture or sale of counterfeit or pirated goods to the FBI by contacting your local FBI Office, or or calling (202) 324-3000 and asking to speak with the Duty Complaint Agent. If you suspect products for sale on the Internet are counterfeit or pirated, you can report your suspicions to the FBI Internet Fraud Complaint Center (also known as “IC3”). The only information you will need to file a report is:

• Victim's name, address, telephone, and email - This will be your information if you are the victim, or another person if you are filing on behalf of a third party
• Financial transaction information (e.g., account information, transaction date and amount, who received the money)
• Subject's name, address, telephone, email, website, and IP address - The subject is the person/entity allegedly committing the Internet crime
• Specific details on how you were victimized
• Email header(s)
• Any other relevant information you believe

If the fake merchandise was purchased through AMAZON:

1. Go to Contact Us.
2. Select Report a violation.
3. Select your language of preference from the Please select a language from the drop-down menu.
4. To facilitate an investigation, be sure to include the following information in the Please describe your issue field, as applicable:
   • The store or business name of the seller you are reporting.
   • The ASIN or ISBN of the item's detail page and the product title.
   • The marketplaces for which the violation has occurred.
   • A concise explanation of the violation based on the policy.
   • Supporting documentation (for example, order IDs, related messaging, or receipts).
5. In the Contact method field, verify the Your email and Your number are correct.
6. Select Send

If the Bogus Merch was purchased through EBAY:

1. Go to the listing and choose Report item, which you'll find next to the description and shipping and payment options.
2. Select the reason from the dropdown menu, then Continue.
3. On the next page, fill in any extra information, and select Send.

Or, start by clicking Report an item

If you bought the fake merchandise through POSHMARK

1. Select the listing.
2. Select the Action Menu (...)
3. Select Report this Listing.
4. Select the report reason.

If the counterfeit was sold on ETSY:

1. On the listing page for an item, click Report this item to Etsy.
2. Select a reason from the dropdown and add a note. If your specific concern is not provided as an option, add the relevant details in the text box.
