5 Pieces of TRASH That Actually Sell on eBay
Posted by Big Brand Wholesale.com on 27th Jun 2021
Did you know that the stuff you throw out on a daily basis can actually bring in money on eBay? Here's a list of 5 items that may surprise you to discover they have used value:
This just might make you rethink drinking beer or liquor! The average sale price is around $15 for 100 used generic corks or $0.50 per cork if they’re cool or great quality. The good news about corks is that they’re small and light so shipping is cheap. You can easily fill a USPS Flat Rate bubble mailer with them.
Wine bottles also sell but are more of a pain in the arse to ship.
Toilet Paper / Paper Towel and Other Tubes
Nobody wants the toilet paper, they just want the cardboard tube that you usually pitch. I know you are probably as surprised as I am to discover how big of an industry this actually is. Apparently these tubes are a top choice for crafting, especially for kids crafting.
The average sell price varies depending on the amount of tubes. Listings with 50 - 100+ tubes sell far better than small quantity listings. Some listings sell for a couple bucks whereas others make $15+.
The cardboard-type cartons and the foam-type cartons both sell on eBay.
You can get about $4 for 12 empty, used cartons.
If you have a pine tree in your yard you probably understand how beautiful, yet annoying these things are. The good news is you can sell the heck out of them, especially in November / December. All sizes and styles of pinecones sell.
Sites like Pinterest are loaded with Crayon Project ideas (you can even turn them into candles to sell!). You can expect to make around five bucks for a pound of broken crayons.
