WHAT TO EXPECT WITH M*CYS, SEARS, BL**MINGDALES and TARGET LIQUIDATIONS:

  • Sometimes the piece has a clearance sticker
  • Sometimes a removable Liquidation sticker is applied
  • Sometimes the piece is missing the paper store tag
  • Sometimes the piece was part of a set and some, or the rest, of the set is missing.  The remaining piece(s) are still sellable.
  • Sometimes the piece was supposed to include a bonus item, such as a belt, and the belt is missing
  • Occasionally a piece has a stain which is usually dust / dirt from being tried on in the fitting room but on rare occasion the stain could be makeup or food. These stains are usually easily removable without the need for a washing machine.
  • Sometimes the piece looks worn or may actually be worn.  We try to remove pieces with major signs of wear but it is not possible for us to catch 100%.
  • Sometimes the liquidation is applied with a staple to the garment.  Simply taking your time and slowly sliding the staple out then stretching the material gently with your fingers is the solution.  Obviously if you carelessly rip the staple out you are going to damage the garment.
  • On very rare occasion there is a rip along a seam or under an armpit that we didn't see.  Again, these are usually very simple repairs with basic sewing knowledge. We try to remove all major damage that we see.
  • It is not possible for us to catch every imperfection.  We sort over 10,000 items a week so we do not have time to analyze each piece.  You should expect there could be imperfections we did not see

WHAT TO EXPECT WITH QVC LIQUIDATIONS:

  • The merchandise QVC sells is different from M*CYS, SEARS, Target or other Liquidations we carry so we encourage you to read all about the quality in this section:
  • QVC sells merchandise on QVC TV
  • During the QVC television show customers place orders. The merchandise ships directly from QVC's warehouse to the buyer.  Since this exact merchandise is not sold in a retail store, it typically does NOT HAVE "PAPER STORE TAGS" because there is no reason for it to have paper store tags.  The purpose of a paper store tag is so a retail store cashier can scan the barcode; again, since this merchandise is not being sold in a physical store, there is no purpose for a paper tag.  Instead the merchandise arrives to us inside of a plastic bag with the SKU and other information on the bag. SOMETIMES WE REMOVE THE ITEM FROM THE PLASTIC BAG so you can SEE it in the video above.  If we kept the items inside of the bags you would have no way of seeing what you are purchasing. We then discard the plastic bag.  This means you may be buying items without a plastic bag and without a paper store tag.
  • Because the item was stored inside of a bag instead of on a hanger in a retail store, you should expect more wrinkles than with other store liquidations we sell.
  • During the QVC TV broadcast, pieces of merchandise are used to show the item (demonstrations), these are called often called "Samples". Samples are typically only worn briefly and typically are damage-free, however it is possible they could have dust / dirt, makeup, a slight perfume scent, deodorant or other imperfections. Typically Sample imperfections are minor and can be easily removed.
  • Typically there is leftover stock after an item has aired. This stock is Liquidated. This stock is damage-free, unused.  Technically this stock is "Overstocks".
  • QVC Liquidations also include pieces that have been purchased by a customer during the television show and did not fit or the buyer decided they didn't like it.  Therefore the customer returns the item to QVC.  These items are typically in awesome condition but can show light signs of wear. These signs of wear can include dust / dirt, makeup, a perfume scent, deodorant or other imperfections.  QVC buyers are not supposed to return items they used however people are not always honest.  On occasion an item may look worn or washed or actually be worn or washed.  We try to remove any pieces with major damage but it is not possible for us to catch 100%.
  • Overall, the QVC quality is outstanding because these items have not been in retail stores however these are still Liquidations, so you should expect there could be imperfections we do not see. On the other hand, what's really cool is that you are buying items that typically are NOT available in retail stores, therefore your competition when reselling is greatly reduced.

WHAT TO EXPECT WITH STORE CLOSING SALE MERCH:

  • Store Closing Sale merchandise often does not have original paper store tags attached.  Instead it has a "Last Chance" / "As-Is" tag attached.  This is because the store is closing so people will not be able to come back at a later date and return the merchandise.
  • Store Closing Sale paper tags usually have a very, very low price on them.  Often the price tag says $4, $5, $9, $12 or $19. You likely want to cut of the bottom part of the tag if it says $5.
  • Often Store Closing Sale pieces do not have any paper store tags at all
  • Sometimes a piece may look worn or actually have been worn
  • Sometimes the piece was supposed to come with a bonus item, such as a belt, and the belt is missing
  • Occasionally a piece has a stain which is usually dust / dirt from being touched by customers.   Because these are Mixed Quality you should expect some imperfections.
  • Sometimes the piece looks worn or may actually be worn.  We try to remove pieces with major signs of wear (or notify you of these incidents) but it is not possible for us to catch 100%.  Because these are Mixed Quality you should expect some imperfections.
  • We try to remove sensors / ink tags whenever we have time.  Sometimes there are so many sensors that there isn't enough time for us to take them all off.  However, you can purchase the $13.99 magnet from Amazon.  If you plan to consistently purchase N*RDSTR*M merchandise it's a great investment to have on hand because items like Coats, Purses, Sunglasses, real leather goods, genuine silk, (everything high end and premium) all have sensors attached.  As mentioned, we do try to find and remove them but we cannot guarantee we will locate 100%.  Some items have 2 or more sensors on them so even though we think we removed all sensors, theres actually another sensor hiding somewhere else.
  • Sometimes there is a rip or other issue that we didn't see.   Because these are Mixed Quality you should expect some imperfections.
  • You are getting these items at an extra deep discount because there are likely imperfections that we did not see.
