Why Wholesale Adidas Sneakers Can Seem So Expensive

When I first started buying wholesale, I had the same thoughts most people have, like "Why the F is this so expensive?", because for some reason we all believe "wholesale" means dirt cheap (and sometimes it actually does!). However when it comes to certain items, specifically shoes and purses, wholesale can see pretty darn expensive, and here's why:
Check out this seriously incredible chart provided by SoleReview.com that shows the cost for Adidas to produce 8 different styles of shoes:
As you can see, the cost to make the shoes is no less than $29, and as much as $76. The Production Cost is before any wholesale margin is added on, so lets say a very modest 10% is added on, this means the lowest possible cost to buy wholesale would be in the lower $30's, all the way up to the mid $80's, and most likely these prices will be accompanied by an MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) because no legitimate wholesaler is going lose money on selling 1 pair of shoes for a measly $3 gross profit (that turns into a loss after costs are factored in).
So, if you can get wholesale designer shoes for $35 or less, you are likely getting a really good deal even though the price seems expensive. Shop our shoes selection now.
