If you have followed this blog for some time you probably know that we absolutely love to share information about scams with you so you can safely sell online, so when we came across this absolutely amazing man named Jim Browning from Europe who is on a mission to not only bust scammers, but also reverse the roles and show you their face and location, we had to write about this hero. Let’s begin ~

Jim Browning, clearly a computer technology expert, video records and screen records all of his scam busting so he can then share it on his YouTube channel. On Jim’s YouTube he created a playlist called “Spying on Scammers”, which is an INCREDIBLE (free) 4-Part series that should be a Netflix documentary (but isn’t) although some of his hard work has appeared on BBC Television.

The first part of this series introduces you to those super annoying computer scams; you know, the one that freezes your screen, or is a popup you can exit out of that tells you your computer is infected and to call a phone number to fix it. I think most people in the USA under the age of 45 probably know these are scams and find a way to close the internet without calling the phone number, but unfortunately, thousands of Americans fall victim to this scam each day. If you are not familiar with the scam I strongly encourage you to watch Part 1. If you don’t have time to watch all of this, skip to Part 4 below.

As of the second episode, Jim has already managed to play along with the scam and when the evil-doers attempted to take over Jim’s pc, he was able not only take over the scammers computer but also hack into the surveillance system in their office, which allows him to see EVERYTHING as it is happening… and of course, Jim shares this with you.
