If you’re a new online seller and you’re looking to make a couple bucks I’m sure you have heard about “Getting Paid to Take Surveys” - well here’s everything you need to know plus my ONE AND ONLY 100% legit paid survey company recommendation (I personally vouch for this ONE company)

First, let me tell you THE TRUTH about Paid Surveys:

I don’t care what anyone else tells you, taking paid surveys is NOT a “job”. It’s not “Supplemental Income” either. But if you want $5 - $30 a month, then here you go.

The one and ONLY company I can recommend is SurveySavvy. I signed up with them in 2005 or so and I have made thousands of dollars. Unfortunately Survey Savvy does not have an area on their site where you can see all of your payment history, so I have no idea what the exact amount is. If they can add this feature to their site I will gladly post screenshots for you.

HOW IT WORKS

When you sign up (for free), you fill out some questions about yourself. This is mega important because it helps match surveys with your interests. For example, if Gerber (baby food company) want to have a survey conducted, they want to make sure the survey is only being taken by parents of infants because it would be of no value to Gerber to have 65 year old childless men providing their opinion on if organic carrots in baby food encourage them to buy.

Equally, if Taco Bell wants a survey conducted regarding the level of interest in their mobile app, they want to target people who own a mobile phone because it would be utterly worthless to get feedback from people who don’t own a cell phone. Anyways, be sure to fill out your profile thoroughly and honestly.

Next you will be offered surveys:

As you will notice, each survey provides the approximate time it will take to complete as well as the pay for the survey IF it is completed (<--- we will discuss this more soon!). For the sake of this blog post I chose the $4 payout survey because it takes only 8 mins average:

This survey ended up being about my interest in The Grammys and other award shows as well as MTV and Fox News. I answered approximately 15 questions rather quickly because I hate awards shows and the only show I watch on MTV is “Catfish”.

There’s a little bar at the top of the screen that tells you how far along you are in the survey and how much you have left. After about 3 minutes I was almost 50% done. And it became pretty clear that I was not the type of person they wanted information from, so, as expected, I got the “Sorry you don’t qualify” message:

Which means I totally wasted 3 minutes for nothing. On the other hand I also cashed out a check for $89 so it wasn’t a total waste of time. Let me mention, I rarely ever use the site so the last time I cashed out was likely 2020.

GETTING PAID

For some reason they insist on mailing you a check. I wish they would offer payment via PayPal but they don’t.

The cool thing is there’s only a $1 minimum to request a check.

I have NEVER had a check not arrive. Typically they arrive, via standard mail, within 14 days.

WHY THIS IS THE ONLY COMPANY I RECOMMEND

There's a handful of reasons why this is the one, and only, company I will ever vouch for:

• Most other companies require $10 earning to cash out.  If there's no surveys available and you have $9 sitting in your account, you're totally screwed. 
• They do NOT pay a bounty to get other people to sign up.  They do have an affiliate program but they do NOT pay for registrations.  This is why you don't see this LEGITIMATE company promoted online.  YouTubers and Google Ads promote companies that pay for registrations.  
• I have personally been paid, via check, for over a decade without any issue.
