Online Sellers: The Best Time of Day to Post on Facebook
Posted by Big Brand Wholesale.com on 16th Dec 2021
Since you're an online seller, chances are you are a small business and your time is stretched thin. That means that ordering inventory, listing, shipping and responding to customers takes priority over marketing. However marketing is still essential and choosing not to market means you are missing out on sales. The key is to market wisely by posting (or scheduling posts) to appear during the most popular time to maximize views.
If you're not utilizing Facebook for your business, you are missing out on a major revenue source because, as of 2021, 74% of Americans use this social media platform! So here's the current best times and days to post to Facebook in 2021 / 2022:
BEST DAYS: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with Wednesday being the ultimate best day.
BEST TIMES: 9am - 3pm. Specifically between 11am - 1pm on Wednesdays usually produces the most interactions however 11am-2pm in general, during the week, is also prime time. Did ya notice how this time frame aligns with peoples lunch breaks? Yep!
WORST TIMES: This is super interesting data because although people are very active on social media on weekend evenings (after 6pm), they are NOT looking at ads and not interested in purchasing merchandise. It seems they are browsing to see what their friends and family are doing, so save your marketing posts for Tuesday!
Early in the morning on weekends (before 8am) is also pretty useless for marketing. This is because most people are choosing to sleep in or wake up early and run errands and accomplish tasks. What happens if you post early on weekends is your content gets burried in other peoples posts, so views will be low.
