Online Sellers: The Best Time and Days to Post on Twitter
Posted by Big Brand Wholesale.com on 17th Dec 2021
If you're an online seller, Twitter is an excellent place to market your company and products, 100% free of charge! The key to generating the most views for your products on Twitter is to post (schedule) your tweets to go out during peak hours.
BEST DAYS TO TWEET
If your time is limited because you're a small business and you simply don't have time to spend on Twitter, schedule your Tweets in advance to be posted Monday - Friday because weekdays get the most engagement. Specifically, aim for Wednesdays and Fridays.
Posting on the weekends isn't bad, but Twitter users are much less active on Saturdays and Sundays, so you should expect much less interaction and, if your weekend post was important, chances are it will get buried by other Tweets, so come Monday, when your followers hop back on, they likely will never scroll back far enough to see what you posted. Yes, it's pretty counter productive.
BEST TIMES TO TWEET
You already know that Wednesdays and Fridays rock, but if you really want to take advantage of these two days, schedule your tweet for 9am. For some reason this time slot is the best-of-the-best.
But obviously you can't only post on Wednesday and Friday at 9, so the other times you should be capitalizing on are noon on any weekday (lunch rush!) as well as 5pm - 6pm during the week. The 5-6 tweets get "dinner reads" and Happy Hour views.
