If you’re an online seller you will eventually run into the issue where a paper store tag falls off an item, or perhaps you want to Add Your Own Tags to items or Prevent Buyers from Wearing and Returning it. Regardless of the reason, all you need is a Tagging Gun and these are very inexpensive (and worth having!).

IMPORTANT NOTES: Yes, there are $6 Tagging Guns, but I suggest avoiding them because they’re junk. They break very quickly because they “jam”. Once they jam it is almost impossible to fix so you end up buying multiple $6 guns which ends up costing more than just buying one $9 - $14 gun. Additionally, the needle is made of cheap metal that bends and this leads to major problems because it is often hard to tell that the needle is slightly bent… until you press it through the clothing and notice you left a big hole :(

ALSO, you want to buy a Tagging Gun that comes with “Fasteners” (Also called “Barbs”) because it’s cheaper to buy it as a package than to buy it separately

FINALLY, you want to get short-ish fasteners. The longer the fastener the easier it is for the paper tag to fall off or rip off. Personally I prefer the super short fasteners that are around .75” however most stores tend to use 2” Fasteners.

CINOTON TAGGING GUN KIT: $11.99

The CINOTON Tagging Gun comes in three colors, Blue, Red and Yellow; I don’t know about you, but I personally love color choices. The kit comes with 1,500 fasteners in 2” each in addition to replacement needles and a handful of free price tags. Honestly, the price tags are basically scrap unless you own a retail store and also want to use the cheap-style tags.
