Online Sellers: Snacks You Can Eat While Working

Posted by Big Brand Wholesale.com on 9th Aug 2021

Only a fellow online seller would understand what it’s like to have a massive pile of stuff to do and no time to eat. If you’re not an online seller you likely work for a company who gives you a lunch break, or, you have set hours so you can clock-out at 5pm and head home for dinner. But when your job is online selling there is no such thing as being “off work” because our businesses are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. With that being said, most of us eat while we work and cooking a meal to consume is out of the question, hence the reason to need snacks.

If you’re looking for super healthy snacks, this isn’t the article for you. If you’re looking for mega-simple, delish snacks, you’ll love this. These are the things I always keep on hand at our warehouse:

Single serve chips and salsa. This is one of my top go-to’s because there’s no dishes to do and the serving size is perfect for filling me up at lunch time. I have tried a ton of different brands and I think these are the absolute best-of-the-best:

Tostitos Medium Heat Salsa. It says “chunky” but it’s really not very chunky however the thickness is perfect for not dripping on my keyboard:

The 30 pack only costs 22 cents per cup!!!! And the cups are so big that I usually can’t finish them in one sitting, but they’re so cheap I don’t feel the need to save the last 2 teaspoons left in the cup.

My go-to chip is Gold Medal brand. These are just like the chips you get at a sports game or carnival / fair. They’re friggin delish. The only downside is that they’re often sold out, so you have to keep your eyes peeled or set up an alert to get them:

The Gold Medal chips are kind of pricey unless you buy directly through Gold Medals Amazon. If you can grab them through Gold Medal you’ll get 48 bags for under $28, which comes to only 58-cents per bag. If you buy through other Amazon sellers the price doubles. Either way, the bags are HUGE and I can only finish ¾ of a bag in one sitting, so even at $1 a piece they’re worth it.

But if they’re out of stock then go with the case of Tostitos:

The chips are about 45 cents per bag on Amazon when you buy them by the case.

Cheese Dip - This is another one of my fav snacks and conveniently I can use the same tortilla chips. I have tried a ton of different single serve cheese dips and Gehl's Jalapeno Cheese Cups Are my favorite:

These cups are called “Jalapeno” however they have very little heat. I wish they were spicier than they are, but regardless they are the best single serve I have found in terms of flavor and size. The price on these varies but the cheapest place to get them is from Gehls Amazon Store where one big cup (3.5 ounces) comes to about 82-cents.

Assorted Potato Chips. I have always said that if I was stranded on an island I would want wine, mexican food and potato chips. Some vodka would be nice too.

There’s never a day that we don’t have a massive single serve chip buffet in the kitchen at our warehouse. I am a fan of variety so I always buy the assorted flavor packs of everything. Here’s what I keep stocked:

Single Serve Pringles (the Cheddar are my personal fav but the kids love BBQ so it works out great)

Cheetos Mixed Case with Jalapeno - My two fav Cheetos of all time are the Chipotle Ranch and the Jalapeno Cheddar. However, my younger son loves the Cheetos Flamin Hot assortment.

Single Serve Ruffles - these work great with the cheese dip listed above, so I make sure I order a case of the plan Ruffles and variety pack.

If you’re not a fan of ruffles but you want plain chips that go great with the cheese dip, get Utz. I had never seen Utz here in Michigan but I kept hearing about how amazing they are so I ordered them.

Frito Lay Mixed Case - Amazon has a ton of different options. Some cases come with Sun Chips, others come with Pretzels, Cheetos… they really are great assortments.

Amys Burritos - The best frozen burrito in the world. The key is microwaving it correctly according to the directions on the wrapper. You put it on a paper plate and put another plate on top to make a pod. You microwave it like that and it comes out perfect. I have found these at Kroger stores but I usually order them through Whole Foods on Amazon because it’s easy to have them delivered to the warehouse.

Sippable Soups - This is my new fav thing of summer 2021.  It's a soup in a cup with a lid.  No need for a spoon!

Variety Pack of Combos - you can score 12 bags for $3.50! My only problem is I can eat 3 bags at a time, lol!

More Awesome Single Serves:

Single Serve Milks - I’m not a massive fan of milk but I love to have it with salsa or spicy things. I think it’s the best combination ever to have that cool, creamy milk along side that hot food. I have found Horizon Organic to be the absolute best brand because it is “shelf stable”, meaning you don’t need to refrigerate, so you can order 2 cases at a time, pop one in the fridge then restock as needed. Horizon Organic also offers Chocolate Milk and Strawberry Milk.

Mini Muffins Variety Packs - Just like with the Combos, my only issue is that it’s so easy to eat a whole box of mini muffins because they’re friggin amazing! Amazon usually has 3 cases in three different flavors for about $13!

Blue Diamond Almonds - Sweet baby Jesus, these are incredible! Make sure you get the variety pack because it’s fun to try them all!

I’m not a huge fan of sweets, which is why pretty much everything on this list is salty, but Kellogs Pastry Breakfast Bars are soooooooo good.

TIP:  If you are a huge fan of Mexican food, I have figured out how to make a super fast, super amazing, single serve nacho!  All you need is:

It takes approximately 4 minutes to make the nacho and it's damn good!
