NEVER Buy a No-Brand Tag Detacher / Sensor Remover on eBay, Wish or Alibaba

I assume you’re reading this article because you either love reading our content or because you have a gosh darn sensor / ink tag on your inventory and you want nothing more in life than to remove it.
Most likely you have read our blog post called How to CORRECTLY Remove Ink Tags and Sensors from Clothing so you likely did what most people do; you “shopped around” and found the identical sensor removers we suggested in this post for less money. You probably wondered why on earth BigBrandWholesale.com would ever suggest for you to pay $15 for something that you can buy on Wish.com for $4. You might have wondered if the $15 suggestion was our mistake, or possibly us being careless and not thoroughly researching sensor removers however I can assure you that this is far from the truth. In fact we are HUGE on saving money and we spend a great deal of time and money testing products to bring you the absolute best-of-the-best information and prices. So, here’s why we NEVER recommend buying a sensor remover other than the specific ones we tell you to purchase and why we NEVER tell you to save a buck by buying tag removers through Wish, Alibaba or eBay no-brands:
Most importantly; they’re total garbage. In most cases they literally DO NOT WORK AT ALL. The sensor removers are essentially “copy cats” that are made using cheap materials that just do not operate correctly. If you buy an EAS sensor remover, you squeeze the trigger on the remover gun and the whole thing snaps in half. Utterly useless. If you buy a different magnet remover than the one we suggest you will discover it’s likely a fraud; meaning it is sold as being a “12,000 GS” magnet but because it is made with junk materials it barely sticks to a refrigerator and therefore doesn’t have enough “pull” to remove a magnet-type sensor.
Secondly, most of these ship from China. This means that it is going to take weeks (or months) to arrive... IF it ever arrives (Read: WTF eBay! Why are You Letting Scammers Ruin Your Site?!) So if you spend 5 weeks waiting for your sensor remover to arrive and it breaks before you can use it (or doesn’t work at all), you now have to deal with buying a different product and possibly a return… maybe even a file a dispute if the seller refuses the return or vanishes off the face of the earth. Once you factor in 10+ WEEKS dealing with waiting on the tag detacher to arrive, returning it, ordering another, waiting for it to arrive… this entire time your inventory was sitting. Sitting inventory cannot sell so it’s not only a waste of money but it’s also a waste of time and space! You’re so much better off paying the extra buck to get the correct product from the get-go.
Third, the amount of TIME you have to spend messing with the incorrect tag remover to try to get a simple task done (all you want is to remove the sensor, for Petes sake!) is expansive. One of the worst products ever is the cheap metal “hook remover”. This apparatus is such garbage that it is unbelievable that people continue to buy it, however a mix of fake paid-reviews and people who love to leave reviews before they try it result in the seemingly unending scam. Anyways, if you are spending an hour or more messing with removing a tag you could have easily spent this same amount of time making money by WORKING. There is rarely ever a situation where wasting time is valuable.
