- WHAT ARE SAMPLES? Before a factory makes giant quantities of an item they make a sample. The purchaser (in this case, TYR) then reviews the sample. If TYR decides it is perfect the factory makes the large quantity. Or TYR might decide to change something about the sample. Let's say TYR decided they wanted the graphic on the sample to be red instead of white, the factory would then make another sample with a red graphic. If TRY decides it is perfect the factory will make the large quantity. And so on. Samples can be different from the finished product because the purchaser (TYR) chose to make changes. Because samples have been touched by people it is possible they could get dust on them. Sometimes samples do not have paper store tags. Sometimes a sample will have a tag with handwritten information because it is not the finished product.
