WHAT TO EXPECT WITH M*CYS, BL**MINGDALES and TARGET LIQUIDATIONS:
- Sometimes the piece has a clearance sticker
- Sometimes a removable Liquidation sticker is applied
- Sometimes the piece is missing the paper store tag
- Sometimes the piece was part of a set and some, or the rest, of the set is missing. The remaining piece(s) are still sellable.
- Sometimes the piece was supposed to include a bonus item, such as a belt, and the belt is missing
- Occasionally a piece has a stain which is usually dust / dirt from being tried on in the fitting room but on rare occasion the stain could be makeup or food. These stains are usually easily removable without the need for a washing machine.
- Sometimes the piece looks worn or may actually be worn. We try to remove pieces with major signs of wear but it is not possible for us to catch 100%.
- Sometimes the liquidation is applied with a staple to the garment. Simply taking your time and slowly sliding the staple out then stretching the material gently with your fingers is the solution. Obviously if you carelessly rip the staple out you are going to damage the garment.
- On very rare occasion there is a rip along a seam or under an armpit that we didn't see. Again, these are usually very simple repairs with basic sewing knowledge. We try to remove all major damage that we see.
- It is not possible for us to catch every imperfection. We sort over 10,000 items a week so we do not have time to analyze each piece. You should expect there could be imperfections we did not see.
WHAT TO EXPECT WITH COSTCO LIQUIDATIONS
Costco liquidations are the same as MACYS, SEARS and other stores. The only difference is that sometimes Costco Liquidations include items that are actually Store Returns. These pieces are usually returned to costco because costco does not have a fitting room so people cannot try on the merchandise in costco. This means that when the buyer brings the item home and tries it on they discover it doesn't fit
WHAT TO EXPECT WITH BOUTIQUE LIQUIDATIONS AND CLEAN GRADED IRREGULARS
Overstock Liquidations Condition to expect:
- Brand New.
- NO CLEARANCE STICKERS
- NO DAMAGE
- Many times they are inside clear plastic bags. This is because they are brand new and nobody has opened them yet. If you are an online seller you can keep them inside the plastic bag to keep them safe from dust. Alternatively, you can open the plastic bags up by the flap and reuse them or recycle them if you do not want to keep the merchandise in them.
- Sometimes boutique brands do not have paper store tags because they were not made to have paper store tags. If paper store tags are shown in photo / video in this listing you should expect it will have paper store tags. If paper store tags are not shown you should expect it was not made with paper store tags
Clean Graded Irregulars:
- Brand New
- No Clearance Stickers
- May also come inside clear plastic bags
Some pieces may have super minor irregularities. An example of a couple possible irregularities includes things like:
- Extra thread that needs to be trimmed / removed
- Very, very slightly imperfect stitching on some spots
- If the item contains embellishments, such as Gemstones, the Gemstones on a couple pieces are slightly misplaced
- Color may vary super slightly between pieces even though its the same UPC
- Dye staining from dye transfer
